Over the course of my 30-plus years in the financial services industry, I have dedicated myself to helping investors pursue their financial objectives. I earned a degree in finance from Columbia College and hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. I began my career in banking and then enjoyed 12 years as a financial advisor with A.G. Edwards (now Wells Fargo Advisors) prior to joining Stifel in 2007.
I have been interested in financial planning and financial markets since I was in high school. Even at a young age, I realized I had a passion for studying investments and how they may help people with their finances. Today, I combine these passions to help my clients create a clearer vision of their financial journey. I find that helping people understand their personal roadmap and guiding them to make more informed financial decisions enables them to better navigate life’s complexities. My goal is to put a plan in place for the long term so my clients can focus on spending time doing what brings them joy.
Sharing in my clients’ experiences is truly rewarding. Whether it is the excitement of retiring, a new child or grandchild, graduations, weddings, or assisting new generations of family members, my team and I are here every step of the way. We are also here for the difficult times that life may bring, striving to ensure our strategies are ready to face your unforeseen challenges. Leveraging my extensive experience – and the expansive resources of Stifel – I strive to add value to every meeting and conversation.
When I am not assisting clients, I am spending time with my wife, Kimberly, and our daughter. We keep busy by biking and hiking Columbia’s parks and trails and taking in all of their natural beauty. In the summer, we love watching baseball – we are huge St. Louis Cardinals fans! I love to read, especially when it comes to history and biographies. In addition, my family loves to travel, whether it is relaxing at the beach or exploring an area’s rich history.
With more than 15 years in the financial services industry, I have gained a deep passion for helping clients pursue their short- and long-term financial goals. Each day, I am motivated knowing that our team serves as a collaborative financial resource in our clients’ quest toward financial independence and the freedom it provides.
I joined Stifel in 2009 after earning an MBA from the University of Missouri. Prior to joining The Reardon Group, I served as Vice President, Financial Planning Manager of Stifel’s Wealth Planning Department. In this role, I gained valuable experience developing thousands of financial plans for clients all over the country and from many different walks of life. I also hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.
Partnering with a financial advisor like Joe and working together as a member of a strong wealth management team has been my ultimate career goal. Our client relationships are our number one priority, and I strive every day to apply my financial planning experience and knowledge to building the most personalized wealth plans possible. It is truly rewarding to listen to clients’ experiences and aspirations and to be a part of their journey toward success by empowering them to pursue their financial and personal life goals.
When I am not helping clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Katie, and our daughters, Isla and Juliette. As a family, we enjoy traveling and spending time together outdoors. I am a big fan of Mizzou football and basketball, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the St. Louis Blues.
During my time in the financial services industry, the relationships I have built with clients has always been my motivator. Through individualism and kindness, my goal has always been to leave client interactions with confidence and a smile. Growing up in the small town of Petersburg, Illinois, I was taught to value community and genuine connections. In that regard, I aim to be so much more than just a useful tool in my client’s journey toward financial freedom.
I began my financial services journey as a Financial Service Representative at Charles Schwab in St. Louis, assisting clients with anything from website navigation to in-depth fundamental and technical analysis. This role allowed me to realize the true size and variety of the financial industry. It also led me to discovering my passion of providing valuable education and guidance to clients on a personal level.
Our team has a unique combination of skillsets and personalities that allows us to perfectly complement one another’s strengths. I am proud to say that you will not work with just one member of our team; instead, we all will work together to help you pursue your financial goals.
Outside the office, I enjoy rock climbing, traveling, and playing basketball with my friends. I also love to read about philosophy and volunteer for organizations like Children’s Miracle Network, Gift of Life, and the American Cancer Society.
During my nearly 25 years in the financial services industry, I have assisted in organizing and implementing updates to investment plans for individuals, families, and business owners. I understand that your life changes, and we need to adapt to those changes. I am prepared to help you apply these changes in the most effective way possible.
Prior to joining Stifel, I spent seven years as an Operations Manager and Registered Sales Assistant with A.G. Edwards (now Wells Fargo Advisors). This is where I began working with The Reardon Group until I took a break to start a family with my husband, Bill. After our two boys were both in school, I rejoined the team with Stifel as a Client Service Associate in 2008.
One of the things I love most about my job with The Reardon Group is seeing the value we add to someone’s financial and, oftentimes, personal lives. When we meet with someone for the first time, and they have retirement accounts spread in various places, it is very rewarding to be able to help them organize all of their data. It is also fun to see our younger clients taking an interest in their financial future. Time is on their side, and they enjoy seeing their results over time.
I enjoy sitting in on meetings and listening to our clients’ life stories, and later hearing how our team made an impact while our clients realized their financial goals, such as retirement or college funding. Ultimately, I am passionate about helping others and am thankful to be with The Reardon Group, who make helping people a priority.
My husband, Bill, and I love spending time with our sons, Will and Eli, along with our four-legged family members. Will is now also a member of The Reardon Group! We spend as much time as we can fly fishing at Bennett Spring. We also love traveling to the beach to relax, especially during the cold winters in Missouri.
With nearly 20 years working in higher education as an educator and advisor, I am excited to use my experience to support the team as we work with clients to identify and plan for their goals. I began my financial services industry career in 2022 and joined The Reardon Group in 2024. I know the confidence that having a strong financial plan can provide and enjoy providing a high level of service to our clients as they prepare for the unexpected while putting a plan in place for their future.
One of the aspects I appreciate most about working with The Reardon Group is there is no question we are not willing to answer. Most importantly, when we don’t know the answer, we are happy to take the time to research the topic and get back to our clients with the best information possible.
Growing up in the St. Louis area, I am a life-long St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues fan and have embraced City SC. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and have graduate degrees from the University of Georgia and the University of Missouri. My wife, Tammy, and I have called Columbia home since 2003 and have two daughters.
Outside of the office, I enjoy following SEC football. With degrees from Mizzou and Georgia, as well as a daughter at the University of Alabama, there is no lack of teams to cheer for (and against!) throughout the year. My wife and I are active members of our church and are honored to serve in multiple roles there. I also enjoy being part of the Boonslick Chordbusters and look forward to singing barbershop harmony every chance I get.
I joined Stifel and The Reardon Group in 2022 and assist the team behind the scenes with administrative tasks so that they can focus on clients. I prepare the majority of paperwork and assist with appointment preparations.
Outside the office, I enjoy nature and spending time hiking trails with my family and dogs in Columbia and also at Bennett Spring.
